The memorandum was signed on February, 11, 2016 at 11:00 at 10 Verkhniy Val, at the Innovation and Development Foundation.

e-Vox memorandum has been signed!

On February, 11, 2016 at the IDF Reforms Lab the leading IT-experts, blockchain-experts, and business representatives have presented an innovative system of electronic voting Vox. This marked a new milestone in the development of electronic democracy in Ukraine.

The blockchain-based system of e-voting ensures absolute transparency of elections and rules out falsifications. It can be used for collective decision making at various levels: for parliamentary voting, e-petitions signing, referenda voting, electing, and as a flexible tool of use in communities (competition for an office, decision making in a political party, parents’ committee in a school, condominium etc.)

Apart from presenting the technology, representatives of IT-companies and public organizations have signed the memorandum of cooperation of implementation and dissemination this multifunctional IT-tool.

The primary message of our team is that this is an open software and we are open for cooperation with all interested parties – developers, donors, communities etc.

The project coordinators Oleksii Konashevych (Center for Innovations Development, Kyiv-Mohyla Academy) and David Kiziria (Reforms Lab of Innovation and Development Foundation) managed to align joint efforts of development companies (Ambisafe, Vareger Group, Kitsoft and others). The memorandum has been signed by the abovementioned companies and politicians: The Head of the State Agency of Electronic Governance of Ukraine Oleksandr Ryzhenko, the Director of the Department of Information Technologies of the Secretary of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Yehor Stefanovych, the Member of Parliament of Georgia Georgi Vasadze, Vyshhorod City Mayor Oleksii Momot, the representative of the State Property Fund of Ukraine Oleksii Zadorozhnyi, as well as numerous civil society and business representatives – Andriy Dubetskyi from Bitcoin Foundation Ukraine (Kyiv), Oleksandr Savsunenko СЕО Titanovo (USA), Pavlo Kravchenko from Distributed Lab (Kharkiv), Volodymyr Flionts from the NGO “Electronic Democracy”, and many others.
