All right! Balta is ours! Yesterday we agreed to install E-VOX:NaRada in Balta town of Odesska oblast’ (region) in Ukraine. We shall provide the first blockchain based system for voting in Balta’s town council. Here is in the photo me (Oleksii Konashevych) and Mr Robinovich, the First Deputy of Major are shaking hands. He gave me LOI and we greed to start technical preparations.
This year in June E-VOX team developed a concept of electronic voting system for local councils “NaRada“, which was nominated for EGAP Challenge on e-Democracy in Odessa. The Challenge is organized by the State Agency of Ukraine on e-Government and financed by the Swiss governmental fund. Currently, E-VOX offers local councils free licence (open source) for E-VOX:NaRada for deputies voting on plenary sessions and system (web-portal) for voting results publication, taking into account the requirements of Ukrainian legislation and if necessary adapt the system for specific needs of local councils and representatives. Innovation And Development Foundation (IDF Solutions) announced its leaving of E-VOX project and EGAP Challenge. E-VOX team appreciates IDF Solutions being a great partner in this project and it’s team including David Kiziria, Lasha Antadze and Roman Yakovlev being high professional and responsive.
The E-VOX project team has introduced the concept of e-voting system for communities and local councils based on blockchain technology and aimed at supporting e-democracy in Ukraine. With its project team E-VOX was selected among others on EGAP Challenge Hackathon held by the State Agency for E-Governance of Ukraine to participate in the ongoing incubation program and went to the next round of the competition.
